HEC brief
Hydroxyethyl cellulose, HEC in short. Is Mainly used in the paint, coating, drilling fracking, pulp formation for textile, etc. It can be used as dispersant, thickener, emulsifier and stabilizer.
It is white in color and soluble both in hot and cold water. When
thoroughly dissolved, the solution is clear and the viscosity can reach peak in about 1 hour. The viscosity is from 400-200000, for different applications.

Simple ways to check quality
Method No. 1. By weighing.
The higher purity the higher density it is. So, we may use the same measuring cup, add into HPMC of
same volume
, and check the weight. The heavier, the purer. (Based on the same correct content.)
Method No. 2. By checking the fluidity.
The purer powder got a better fluidity. When we put it into a jar or glass, by rolling, we may judge the quality by the fluidity. Better quality type will be more smooth in fluidity.
