In March 2022, certified by the Hamelin Institute of Solar Energy (ISFH) in Germany, Longi's silicon heterojunction cell (p-HJT) prepared using gallium doped p-type silicon wafers set a world record for the efficiency of large-sized p-type photovoltaic cells with a conversion efficiency of 25.47%. The R&D team of Longi has set a new world record for 25.40% conversion efficiency of indium free HJT batteries on M6 full-size (274.5c ㎡) single crystal silicon wafers.

On November 2, 2022, Longi Green Energy launched a new generation of photovoltaic module products, Hi-MO 6, to the world. Based on the different functional characteristics and application scenarios of the product, Hi-MO 6 has innovatively created four series in the industry: Explorer series, Scientist series, Extreme Intelligence series, and Artist series.

In March 2023, Longi Green Energy was once again listed on Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) as a Tier 1 (primary photovoltaic module manufacturer).
