Products Description
“THERMOLOCK“ is a semi-irreversible thermochromic colorant that changes color depending on temperature. The color disappears when heated and above the set temperature and gets locked, and the color does not reappear at normal temperature, so it is applicable for security purposes and temperature control.
“THERMOLOCK MS Powder'' is a pigment in the form of a fine powder of several microns.
*Notes
・Thermolock color of both original form or the final product may lose its hue if exposed to any light, so please use and store both ink and prints in a cool and dark place.
・The print by Thermolock may develop slight color under high humidity conditions, so please avoid storing them in high humidity environments.

*While heating up
"TＨERMOLOCK" color gradually starts fading from the decolorization start temperature, but the color will reappear again below its lock temperature. After "TＨERMOLOCK" having gone through the set temperature, the discolor condition is locked and does not return back to the original color.
*While cooling down
Color development starts gradually from the color development start temperature, and the color development is ready at a temperature below the color development completion temperature. After that, the color development state is fully developed by gradually increasing the temperature above the color development start temperature.
