Product Description
Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a stable, water-soluble form one of the vitamin C derivatives and is more stable than vitamin C (L ascorbic acid). Sodium ascorbyl phosphate is made by combining ascorbic acid with a phosphate and a salt.
SAP promotes the formation of dermal collagen. It neutralizes skin-damaging free radicals, evens skin tone by combating hyperpigmentation or dark spots, and has antimicrobial benefits. It has the ability to stimulate the production of collagen, the protein responsible for strong, youthful skin.

Application

It is a stable vitamin C derivative. As a potent water-soluble antioxidant, it is stable in cosmetic formulations and is ideal in combination with its common oil-soluble equivalent, vitamin E acetate. Oil-soluble Vitamin E Acetate, along with water-soluble Vitamin C Sodium Phosphate, is an ideal antioxidant system in all skin care formulations to combat the damage caused by daily environmental stressors. Other very important areas of use are sun protection formulations, anti-wrinkle products, lotions, day creams, night creams and skin whitening products.
