Sodium bicarbonate is used as a flux for casting ingots in the metallurgical industry. In the machinery industry, sodium
bicarbonate can be used as a molding aid for cast steel (sand). In printing and dyeing industry, sodium bicarbonate can be used as
color fixing agent for dyeing and printing, acid and alkali buffer, after treatment agent for fabric dyeing and finishing; baking
soda can be added into dyeing to prevent the yarn tube from producing color flower, and it can be used as detergent for wool.
Uses in agriculture and animal husbandry:
Sodium bicarbonate can be used for agricultural seed dipping and can also make up for the lack of lysine content in feed. Sodium
bicarbonate can be dissolved in a small amount of water or mixed into the concentrate to feed cattle (add in moderation), which
can promote the growth of cattle, but also significantly increase the milk yield of dairy cows.
In glass industry - one of the important raw materials, can adjust the chemical properties of glass, melting point and thermal
