Bentonite
is a non-metallic mineral with
montmorillonite
as the main mineral component.
The content is 85-90%, and some properties of bentonite are also determined by montmorillonite.
After adding water, the small block swells several times to 20-30 times in volume, and is suspended in water, and becomes pasty when there is little water.
Activated clay
is an adsorbent made of clay (mainly bentonite) as raw material, treated with inorganic acidification or salt or other methods, and then rinsed and dried with water. The appearance is milky white powder, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, and has adsorption properties. It is very strong and can absorb colored and organic substances.
Its properties are
strong adsorption capacity, high decolorization rate, low oil-carrying rate, fast filtering speed.
It can e
ffectively remove total phospholipids, soaps and trace metal ions in oils and fats. It is a natural antioxidant.
Removal of toxins and odor substances such as aflatoxin and pesticide residues in oils;
After decolorization, the acid value of the oil product will not rise, the color will not return, it is clear and transparent, the quality is stable, and the shelf life is long.
Especially suitable for the refining production of mineral oil, vegetable oil and animal oil.
