【Intended Use】

This reagent is used to detect coronavirus in feline feces.

【Principle】
This reagent is made according to the colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA).After the sample is added to the sample well on the cassette, it will flow with colloidal gold markers along the chromatographic membrane. If there is the presence of feline coronavirus in the sample, the combination of the virus with the colloidal gold marker and the antibody on the test line will make the test line become red. if the feline coronavirus is absent in the sample, the test line will not become red. Whether or not coronavirus exist in the sample, the quality control line will become red.

Instructions

【Sample Requirements】

1. This test cassetteonly applies to thefeline feces.
2. Collect freshfeces, and put the samples into the buffer immediately and get them tested within 1 hour.
3. If the diluted samples could not be tested in time, they could be refrigerated at 2-8 ℃for 24 hours.

【Sample Collection】

1. Use cotton swabs to collect feline feces. Do not take a great deal of feces , so as not to block the
membrane pores and affect test results.
2. Put the collected samples into the buffer bottle, stir and stay for 1-2min.
3. Remove the cotton swab, tighten the cap of the buffer bottle, reverse it and make it mix well.

【Test Procedure】

1.Take out the cassette from the aluminium foil bag and put it on a flat&clean surface.
2. Use the pipette to draw 3 drops(80ul)of diluted sample and add it into the sample well, then wait for test results.
3. Allow 10-15 minutes at room temperature to determine the results, any result longer than 20 minutesisinvalid.
Note: The required time above is based on a room temperature of 15-30°C.If the room temperature is below 15℃, the time should be extended appropriately.

【Interpretation of results】

1. Negative: In the observation window, only a red band appears in the control line (C).
2. Positive: In the observation window, both the test line (T) and the control line (C) show a red band.
3. Invalid: In the observation window, the control line (C) does not show a band, indicating that the result is invalid. This may be caused by improper operation or damaged reagents, and it is recommended to retest.
