【Intended Use】

Feline Panleukopenia is a highly contagious disease caused by feline parvovirus,and it mainly occurs in kittens less than one year old.The clinical symptoms are high fever, leukopenia, emesis and hemorrhagic enteritis. It is a very dangerous and common infectious disease in domestic cats.
This reagent is used to detect feline parvovirus in feline feces to assist in the diagnosis of FPV.

【Principle】
This reagent is made according to the colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA).After the sample is added to the sample well on the cassette, it will flow with colloidal gold markers along the chromatographic membrane. If there is the presence of parvovirus in the sample, the combination of the virus with the colloidal gold marker and the antibody on the test line will make the test line become red. if the parvovirus is absent in the sample, the test line will not become red. Whether or not parvovirus exist in the sample, the quality control line will become red.

Instructions

【Sample Requirements】

1.Use cotton swabs to collect feline feces. Do not take a great deal of feces , so as not to block the membrane pores and affect test results.
2. Put the collected samples into thebuffer bottle, stir and stay for 1-2min.
3.Remove the cotton swab, tighten the cap of the buffer bottle, reverse it and make it mix well.

【Sample Collection】

1. Take out the cassette from the aluminium foil bag and put it on a flat&clean surface.
2. Use the pipette to draw 3 drops(80ul)of diluted sample and add it into the sample well, then wait for test results.
3. Allow 10-15 minutes at room temperature to determine the results, any result longer than 20 minutesisinvalid.
Note: The required time above is based on a room temperature of 15-30°C.If the room temperature is below 15℃, the time should be extended appropriately.

【Test Procedure】

【Interpretation of results】

1. Negative: In the observation window, only a red band appears in the control line (C).
2. Positive: In the observation window, both the test line (T) and the control line (C) show a red band.
3. Invalid: In the observation window, the control line (C) does not show a band, indicating that the result is invalid. This may be caused by improper operation or damaged reagents, and it is recommended to retest.
