Product Description
Cheng Yuan Alloy Co., Ltd – one of the leading non-ferrous metal processing enterprise in China, with over 10 years of experience. In addition to products made of brass, bronze, copper-nickel, nickel, as well as precision alloys, the company produces nichrome wire, strips, tapes, rods and wire mesh from alloys Cr15Ni60 and Cr20Ni80.
Nichrome is a nickel-chromium alloy with very high heat resistance and electrical resistance - its operating temperature is 800 - 1100 degrees Celsius, and its melting point is about 1400 degrees Celsius.
All these properties make it possible to use nichrome wires and strips for the manufacture of heating elements in laboratory and industrial electric furnaces, various electrical devices of thermal action, for example, in heat guns and industrial hair dryers, as well as water heating systems.
Basically, there are two brands of nichrome on the Russian market - Cr15Ni60 and Cr20Ni80. The difference between them lies in the temperatures of operation and melting, as well as in strength and ductility; according to all these indicators, the Cr20Ni80 alloy is in the lead.
• Nichrome Cr15Ni60 - Contains 55-61% Nickel and 15-18% chromium. The remaining components are iron and other impurities.
• Nichrome Cr20Ni80 - Contains 74% Nickel and 23% chromium, iron, silicon and manganese are also present.
Cheng Yuan Alloy also produces nichrome wire, tapes, rods and nets from alloy Cr20Ni80-N, whose composition includes microalloying with zirconium. Compared to Cr20Ni80, products from this alloy have a high surface quality and contain fewer impurities, which ultimately leads to a longer service life of the product.
Due to its stable operation at high temperatures, nickel wire is indispensable in the production of radio engineering devices, navigation devices and high-precision electrical engineering.
