Introduction

In 20011, Endeavour has been promoted to provide market linkages for unique handicrafts manufactured by rural artisans. We provide product designs as per client requirements thereby providing demand on traditional handicrafts. We focus on domestic and International markets by providing better income for their products. We make use of internet media and e-marketing for promotion business.

Mission – Endeavour strives for the holistic development of girl children with focus on girl child by providing quality education and in addressing economic development of the vulnerable rural women enhancing their skill and access to capital for micro enterprise.

Goals - To develop the Physical, Educational, Psychological and Capacities of children with focus on girl child from vulnerable communities by imparting quality education and to sensitize them on personal hygiene and school health through CREDSO with the support of Endeavour.

To develop the socio-economic aspects of women from rural communities by providing skills for alternate livelihoods and to support them is starting micro enterprise.

Our Growth

Endeavour is involved in marketing of vetiver products. We are exporting fresh cleaned dry roots to USA, Germany, Thailand and supplying to domestic markets. Also we are making vetiver yoga mats, meditation mats, hats, neck bolster, cooling pad, hand fan, seat cover, curtains, etc and supplying to USA and Australia. The root is highly aromatic and provides cooling to the environment.

We are also having kitchen items made from naturally polished coconut shell. No paints or chemicals are used in providing the glazing effect. We are having soup bowls, ice cream bowls, spoons, fork, jar, soap dish, etc. We are supplying coconut shell products to USA, Australia, Germany and domestic market.

We support natural terracotta clay unit. We customize products as per client requirement. We have exported 5000 clay mugs to Australia and 240 plates and wine cups to France, clay cookware to USA and UK. We made unique plant pot for UK client. We supplied 5000 biriyani pots to Dubai. We have plates, mugs, pots, flower pots, vase, paper weight, wine cup, idols, statues, etc.

Endeavour is supporting palm leaf, jute products, hand embroidered products, banana fiber products, printing of Greeting card, swing tag, bottle tag, business card, etc. Now we are exploring the possibilities of exporting food products like honey, cashew, dried fish, smoked fish, banana chips, Indian Snacks, etc

Risk Mitigation

Endeavour will not take up perishable products for export. For breakable items, utmost care is taken in packaging. We spend substantial amount in packing and safe handling to minimize loss on damages. We deal with established Cargo agents and they will take care in delivery in proper time. We work closely with rural artisans in maintaining the quality and in timely delivery. As we are dealing with rural women and traditional products, our clients provide 70% advance to start production and after completion will release 30% thereby sustaining our initiative.

2. We are glad to announce that AgriUdaan 3.0 received 415 applications this time. We are excited to inform you that our startup Endeavour ExIm has been shortlisted for the Top-40 startups of AgriUdaan 3.0, 2019.

Conclusion

Endeavour is striving to revive rural handicrafts and also eco friendly products to support green nature and better livelihoods for rural artisans. We provide marketing linkages and with better income thereby enhancing the livelihoods of rural women. We strictly adhere to Fair Trade Principles and children are encouraged for their study and all traditional safety measures are adopted in our rural production centers/cottage industries.

We also keep a small margin as we want to make our products to move fast so that it will generate employment opportunities for the women. We support our training initiatives and educational initiatives with a service charge from our business.
