shapes, and forces of metal domes can be placed on the same array.

We can accept a number of different file types, but we can also provide budgetary pricing from a hand-sketch of the part.

Product Usage

- Packaging Dome Arrays

The standard carrier for Custom HUIHUI Dome Array Sheets is polyester, but this can be altered to fit your needs. Our array
sheet design lends itself well to low and medium volume applications, where cost savings is critical during the board assembly
process.

Placement of the HUIHUI DOME Arrays is quick and easy. Simply peel off the release liner, align the array and apply it to your
circuit board, flex circuit, or membrane.

Q. Can the domes be soldered to a circuit board?

A. Not recommended. When the domes are pushed, the feet actually move outward slightly. When soldered to a circuit board, the feet of the domes are restricted from their natural movement. This restriction can negatively affect the tactile response of the domes,and in some cases, cause irreparable damage to the domes or break the solder joint.

Q. What is the purpose of a dimple in the center of a dome?

A. Various Snaptron domes have a dimple located in the center of the dome. Typical depth of the dimple is .001” to .002” but may vary depending on the dome style. A dimple is used to reinforce or improve the dome contact with the PCB.
