Q & A on Smart Switch
1. Q: Can Smart switch control all the light sources, or there is a
specific choice?
A: Wi-Fi Light switch, yes
Wi-Fi Dimmer switch, no
Dimmer Switch works with three types of adjustable lights: white knitted lights, car halogen lights, LED adjustable lights
For scenes and markets, 70-80% of household lights in US and Europe are adjustable, mainly used in master bedrooms and elderly bed rooms.
2. Q: Suppose a family/villa has multiple smart switches and other smart appliances connected to the same Wi-Fi, in addition, switch interacts with each other, there are some factors such as distance when Wi-Fi connection is not good, will there be any delay or other problems with the switch?
A: It isn’t affected by distance; without Wi-Fi, there will be no linkage, and when Wi-Fi connection is not good, there will
be delay but the time will not exceed few seconds
3. Q: What is the difference between yours and other suppliers?
A: 1). We focus on long-term business partnership with our customers, all the materials we used are brand new at high end quality.
2). Composition: TUYA Wi-Fi chip + PCBA 400mV (AIHUA 8000h capacitor & resistance + new material case with 4.0mm glass; we have strict quality control, aging process will reach 8-10 hours, 100%.
3). Many other suppliers attract customers at low prices, with less than 2000 hours PCBA and re-used material cases which will cause safety worries and casing cracking naturally over time. Low-cost materials have potential safety hazards.
4. Q: What are the advantages of your switches from other suppliers?
A: We have many special advantages such as Wi-Fi module, PCBA design, components, manufacturing processes, labor costs,
materials and QC process are unique, our supply chain is well controlled, etc. Exact simple example, we use new PC fire-proof V0 class material shell, which will automatically extinguish after 2 seconds if got fire on it.
5. Q: Product introduction, components and raw materials, what is the grade of raw materials that we use? How is the process and color matching?
A: We use the best V0 class PC fire-proof brand-new material, 4.0mm touch glass, capactive touch, the process is quite
complicated but quality is much higher than Light-guided touch which many other suppliers are using it to save process and costs.
6. Q:In case of unstable 4G network, will smart switches be controlled smoothly? Or only under Wi-Fi control?
A: When switch is under standby state, it will be reported to the cloud within 20s, while mobile phone receives this
information and then send it to the switch, occupied flow is quite small, only 70KB. Demand for network speed is quite low, 2G/3G are good enough.
7. Q:why do I fail to connect the network for smart devices?
A: Please check the 3 reasons.
* Password to connect devices via APP is wrong or you are using a different Wi-Fi with you Phone
* Wi-Fiproblem
* Router security settings (turn off firewalls)
8. Q: Does the switch consume electricity a lot?
Will the switch consume electricity when it is dormant?
A: Switch standby power:＜0.6W
Indicator light:＜0.15W
Wi-Fi module:＜0.45W
9. Q:Without artificial damage, will the touch panel sensitivity be delayed by time?
A: Capacitive touch - spring, complex process, higher cost, good performance on sensitivity.
There is basically no delay state, slightly blunt sensitivity in use, but human body basically can not feel it.
10. Q: What is your main markets and price policy?
A: Europe, North America, South America, Southeast Asia, Middle East

11. Q:How do you control and guarantee the quality?
A: We have strictly rules on QC process & control, for example,
* PCBA circuit board Inspection, check Wi-Fi Module production and measurement function
* PCBA 8-10 hours aging time test, circuit virtual welding, leakage, explosion and other detection
* Finished products: appearance, indicator, button, fast flash and slow flash, 10pcs measurement at a time; long press 20s network test, then press 20s to remove it.
* Simulate problems that may occur during transportation, whether components fall off, packaging is damaged or the product is scratched, 10% spot check.
13. Q:What is your after-sale service policy?
A: Return to us for replacements after a year of selling or in a certain contracted period.
