The steel wire insert is a kind of threaded intermediate connector based on the basic thread profile structure and made of high-strength diamond steel wire. Its shape is like a spring. Steel wire screw sleeve is a spring-shaped threaded connector made of stainless steel wire with high strength, high precision and cunning section. It is often used to strengthen the screw holes of aluminum or other low-strength bodies or repair the screw holes damaged due to processing or use.
It is widely used in aerospace components, locomotive, high-voltage electrical appliances, automotive power, wind power, nuclear power, communication and electrical industries. It is used in aluminum, magnesium, copper alloy, plastic, plexiglass, plywood, steel, cast steel and cast iron to make it more tough and firm
The steel wire screw sleeve is screwed into the screw hole of a specific size, the outer corner of the cunning section is closely fitted with the machine body, and the inner corner of the diamond section forms a new standard internal thread. A standard screw is screwed into the internal thread formed by the steel wire threaded sleeve to form a threaded connection with steel wire threaded sleeve (see Fig. 1).
Before the steel wire screw sleeve is screwed into the screw hole, the free state diameter is greater than the internal thread diameter for installing the steel wire screw sleeve. When screwing in the steel wire screw sleeve, its diameter needs to be reduced, and it will pop up after screwing in. Relying on its own elasticity, the steel wire screw sleeve closely fits in the tooth groove of the thread of the machine body to make it firmly fixed in the screw hole of the machine body (see Fig. 2). Screw in and screw out the screws without loosening.
