The Trommel for gold is self contained, and with its 1-5t/h capacity, it is ideal for testing gold values or for small production operations. The unique water supply and reclamation unit allows operation where water is not available.

A spray bar with its own adjustable water valve goes the length of the trommel. Next, the material approaches the 8mm holes where anything under 8mm gets washed down onto the oscillating sluice, and larger material works its way to the end of the trommel. A nugget trap will catch any heavies and the lighter material will go out the tail cone to the rock chute and discard tray. The oscillating sluice has settings for stationary, short, and long strokes. The removable sluice has artificial turf, riffles mounted on expanded metal and toggles to secure it onto the place. Any light material that gets washed off the sluice goes into the de-watering screw.

The Trommel for Gold recirculates approximately 100 gallons of water. You may need to add a little water due to evaporation and the wetness of the waste material. Drain plugs are in both the water tank and the de-watering screw. (Notes: The water storage tank and de-watering screw can be canceled if there are enough water supply.)

Working principle

The general operating flow of the Trommel for Gold is as below:

1st ----The raw ore are fed into the trommel through feeding hopper

2nd----The trommel rotates, and uppersizes are discharged from the tail of trommel, undersizes with water are guided onto the oscillating sluice

3rd---- The gold particles will be trapped in the gold mat while other materials go down to the de-watering screw

4th---- The solids will be spinned out by de-watering screw while the water will flow into the water tank.
