The gabion b asket also named gabion cages, gabion wall, stone cage is manufactured from a main panel that forms the face, base, near and lid of the unit. The mesh panels are reinforced at the edges with wires of a larger diameter (usually called selvedge wire), to strengthen the structure. Gabions are divided into cells by cells called diaphragms/partitions, these partitions help in the reinforcement of the Gabion Structure & help during the filling of stones during assembly. The side panels and diaphragms are then jointed to the base section of the main panel. The unit is then folded flat for transportation.
1. Material:
Galvanized wire:zinc coating can be from 40-280g per square meter.
Galfan wire:also called aluminum-zinc coated wire (10% Al)zinc weight can be from 200g-500g per square meter.
PVC coated wire:The inner wire is galvanized wire or galfan wire,and the regular color is gray and green.
