The water can be set at any temperature between 36 F and 70 F. However, we don't recommend plunging below 45 F. For reference a regular ice bath is usually above 50 F. Also, higher air temperature can affect this values. Using an insulated cover (available in our parts section) will help reach lower temperatures and use less energy.
How Long Does It Take To Cool The Water Down?
If starting from room temperature (around 70 F), it takes about 2 hours to get the water below 50 F. Once it reaches your desired temperature you can permanently maintain the water at that temperature or set a schedule using the Casa App selecting the times for when you with the chiller to be working.
What's the recommended maintenance?
It's recommended that the filter is rinsed weekly and replaced monthly. Filters can be bought in our website.
