If your travel trailer or RV awning needs replacement, we can use a heavy-duty waterproof tarp. Typically, we finish one edge of the tarp with an embedded welt designed to slide into your RV's track. These welts can be made using 1/4", 5/16", or 3/8" rope.
Before placing your tarp order, ensure to measure the track diameter and the opening size (the slit along the track). Choose a
rope size slightly larger than the slit to prevent the tarp from pulling through.
The remaining edges of your awning typically feature grommets for suspension using poles or rope. Along the far edge, parallel to
the RV, we can include a pocket (channel) running the entire length of the tarp. This allows you to insert a pipe or dowel through
the tarp, keeping the awning straight and facilitating easier rolling up.
