Overview
TST Sail Shades - Protects you from the sun all day long
Woven Sail Shades are the most effective sail shades for offering maximum UV protection. The ultra-tight weave of the fabric has been independently tested to UPF50+ making these sail shades near impenetrable by sunlight.
More than 98% of harmful UV rays are blocked out as a result.
In warmer climates, sail shades are designed with small holes in the weave to allow hot air to escape and to keep it from getting too warm underneath the sail. However, with the British climate generally cooler than many countries and more prone to showers, a tighter weave is ideal. You can enjoy maximum UV protection and shelter from the rain without worrying about being uncomfortably warm beneath you r sail shade.

How-To Install a Sun Shade Sail

The shade sail came with D ring & Wind ropes for you to be able to make
the connections to the house/trees/other structure pretty easily. - If you want to strengthen the fixing, you can buy a set of hardware from our store.
- How-To-tighten the rope after installation

From the opposite corners, I assembled the proper length of wire rope with
the thimble and clamp for the end, and attached to eye bolts in the
trees with a turnbuckle to tighten the span. -
Once I had these four anchor points established and installed, the shade
the sail was in the proper position and I could tighten all four anchor
points to get the desired tension.

How long do sail shades last?
The fabrics we use to manufacture our shade sails are of the highest quality and will last for much longer than other, cheaper alternatives that are available.
However, we do still recommend taking your sun shade canopy down during periods of harsh weather conditions and regularly clean it with warm, soapy water.

Not only should you consider the potential damage to your sail awning, but also to any existing structure. If you do choose to use existing structures for the domestic shade sails you should ensure they are structurally sound.
