PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
H315 High-Temp Silicone Sealant
is a one part, acetoxy cure, high quality silicone sealant which withstands very high temperatures: up to +315ºC during permanent work and up to +365ºC for temporary contact. It has excellent adhesion properties to most building materials, including engine applications: Gasket marker, glass and glazed surfaces, ceramics, enamel impregnated and painted wood.
FEATURES
High temperature resistance
Excellent adhesion-on curing will form a strong bond to many common non-porous building components; typically glass surfaces.
High modulus and very low shrinkage on curing
Easy application
Acetoxy cure – formulated for glass sealing, TVS glazing, specialty glazing and many non-porous substrates
Good weather ability and virtually unaffected by sunlight (UV) , wind, frost, rain, snow, ozone or temperature extremes
TYPICAL USES
Bonding, sealing, assembling by decantation and protection coverings of parts used in high temperatures. e.g.:
• Kiln tapes, chimney filters and heating units
• Engines, power units, coolers and motor pumps
• Heating systems
• Pumps and motors
• Kitchen appliances
• Smoke and ventilation ducts

LIMITATIONS
H315 HIGH-TEMP SILICONE SEALANT should not be applied:
To building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents.
To frost-laden or wet surfaces; surfaces that are oily, greasy, wet, dirt or unsound.
In sub-graded applications or joints that will be subject to continuous immersion in water.
Where painting or post finishing of the sealant surfaces is required.
The suitability of this product, for each intended use or application must be determined by the purchaser prior to acceptance.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
12 months from manufacture date when stored in shade, cool and dry locations in original unopened container below +25°C.

CAUTION
Uncured silicone can irritate eyes and skin. If contact is made with eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Use in well ventilated area and keep out of reach for children.
