Product features
12cr1MOV low-alloy heat-resistant steel has higher thermal strength and oxidation resistance than 12CrMoV steel. It has the characteristics of similar creep limit and lasting strength. It has high plasticity, good process property and medium weldability during lasting stretching, and is generally used after normalizing and high temperature tempering. Because of its different manufacturing process, it is divided into hot rolled (extrusion) seamless steel pipe and cold drawn (rolled) seamless steel pipe two kinds. Cold drawn (rolled) pipe is divided into round pipe and shaped pipe two.
Hot rolling (extruded seamless steel pipe) : round tube blank → heating → perforating → three-high diagonal rolling, continuous rolling or extrusion → stripping → sizing (or reducing) → cooling → blank tube → straightening → hydrostatic test (or inspection) → marking → storage.
Cold-drawn (rolled) seamless steel pipe: round tube blank → heating → perforation → heading → annealing → pickling → oiling (copper plating) → multi-pass cold drawing (cold rolling) → blank tube → Heat treatment → straightening → hydrostatic test (inspection) → marking → storage.
For the manufacture of superheated steel tubes, conduits, radiator tubes and corresponding forgings for high pressure equipment operating temperatures not exceeding 570°C~585°C.

Heat Treatment
The allowable adjustment range of heat treatment temperature is: quenching ±15°C, low temperature ±20°C, high temperature ±50°C
The mechanical properties listed in the table are applicable to steel with a section size not greater than 80mm. For steel larger than 80 to 100mm, the elongation after fracture, section shrinkage and impact absorption energy are allowed to be reduced by 1% (absolute value), 5% (absolute value) and 5% respectively compared with the specified table. For steel larger than 100 to 150mm, the elongation after fracture, section shrinkage and impact absorption energy are allowed to be reduced by 2% (absolute value), 10% (absolute value) and 10% respectively compared with the specified table. For steel larger than 150 to 250mm, the elongation after fracture, section shrinkage and impact absorption energy are allowed to be reduced by 3% (absolute value), 15% (absolute value) and 15%, respectively, compared with the provisions in the table.
Boron steel can be normalized before quenching, and the normalizing temperature should not be higher than its quenching temperature. Chromium manganese titanium steel can be replaced by normalizing for the first quenching.
The residual elongation stress στ0.2 can be measured if the yield point σs cannot be measured.
The hardness in the table is the value of HB10/3000 Brinell hardness of annealed or high-temperature tempered steel supply state.
Heat treatment system:
Quenching temperature 970°C air cooling; Tempering temperature 750°C air cooling.
