Multihead weigher, also known as a multihead weigher machine or a combination weigher, is designed to accurately and efficiently weigh and dispense a variety of products, such as snacks, grains, nuts, fruits, and other small goods. The multihead weigher consists of a central control unit and multiple weighing hoppers arranged in a circular pattern. Each weighing hopper is individually controlled and contains a load cell to measure the weight of the product. The central control unit coordinates the operation of the hoppers, allowing them to work simultaneously. The key advantage of a multihead weigher is its speed and accuracy. By utilizing multiple weighing hoppers, it enables high-speed weighing and significantly improves packaging efficiency.
