3. Application : Ferrocene has been used as energy-saving antismoke agent, antiknock agent, radiation absorber, heat stabilizer, light stabilizer. It has been applied to synthesize ammonia catalyst and rubber curing agent. In addition, it was replaced of toxic antiknock agent to prepare high-grade unleaded gasoline.
