These flexible packing extractors are toughened flexible spring steel for maximum maneuverabilty to facilitate packing removal. The flexible shaft is constructed of twisted steel cable which easily conforms to close working conditions. The corkscrew tips are swaged on to the steel cable - not welded like most other packing hooks. Made of tempered steel, the tips will not straighten out during packing removal.
