The tubing offers a wide range of both temperature and chemical resistance FKM Tube is used in applications such as appliances, chemical transfer, hot lubrication feeds, o-rings and seals, fuel and oil lines, cable jacketing, exhaust lines, solvent transfer, and peristaltic pumps. The main attribute of FKM Tubing is its resistance to a wide range of chemicals at elevated temperatures. It will withstand –30°F to 400°F continuously and higher temperatures. FKM Tube is manufactured to handle chemicals such as aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, benzene, toluene, and xylene), oils, fuels, lubricants, and mineral acids. Black in color, it works well outdoors in sunlight and ozone. FKM Tubing possesses the high resiliency of an elastomer as well as the good mechanical properties of conventional synthetic rubbers. The heat and chemical resistance factors, however, go far beyond the range of other rubbers. It offers one of the widest ranges of fluid and chemical resistance of any commercial rubber.
