Product description
I t is mainly a mixture of oleic acid, linoleic acid and their isomers. Insoluble in water. Soluble in ether and ethanol. It can react with alkali. Alcoholization and ammoniation (amination) reactions can also occur. The grade of tall oil fatty acid is mainly determined by the quantity, color and color stability of rosin acid and unsaponifiable matter contained in tall oil.
