Conventional Mosi2 heating element is a type of resistance heating element composed of High purity molybdenum disilicide. When heated to a high temperature in an oxidizing atmosphere,a layer of compact quartz glass forms on the surface of the element which withstands oxidation. In an oxidizing atmosphere, its maximum temperature can reach 1800℃, and its applicable temperature is 500-1700℃ . It can be widely used as heating elements in high Temperature furnaces for a Various of industrial including ceramics, Chemical, glass, metallurgy, refractory and many others.

In addition to the conventional type 1800c Mosi2 rods, 1900c Mosi2 is the latest super quality element researched and developed by us, which adopts High purity molybdenum and silicon power and with whole process anti-oxidation. has the advantage of higher service temperature, and higher temsile strength. Its maximum service temperature is 1850℃ and it can sustain furnace temperature of 1750℃.
