Oil Resistant/ Medium Strength

Higlue 243 is a general purpose threadlocker of medium bond strength. This threadlocker secures and seal bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to vibration. The product works on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces. It is proven to be tolerant of minor contamination due to industrial oils, e.g. motor oils, corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluids.

Application

How To Use

1) Cleaning thread surface with high efficiency detergent;
2) In the bolt, nut, screw hole dispensing, suggest gluing at least above 3 buttons;
3) Assembling bolt, nut and tighten to the specified torque;

The ordinary glue lock is used and the spanner can be disassembled. If the high strength glue lock is used, the spanner can not be directly disassembled. At this time, the bolt and nut should be heated to 260 degrees, and the heat can be disassembled.

▶ Low Strength (Purple): Ideal for fasteners <1⁄4" (6 mm). Easy disassembly using hand tools
▶ Medium Strength (Blue): Designed to be removable with standard hand tools on 1⁄4" to 3⁄4" fasteners,like 242 243 262 263
▶ High Strength (Red): Designed to deliver high strength on 1⁄4" to 3⁄4" (6 mm to 22 mm) fasteners. For removal, it may require localized heat (>550°F/260°C), hand tools, and disassembly while hot,like 271 272 290

▶ Semisolid Formulas: Pocket-friendly, ideal for overhead applications

▶ Pre-Applied: QuickTape threadlocker can be applied beforehand on bolts that are waiting to be assembled
