Silicon dioxide
Silicon Dioxide is a highly insoluble thermally stable Silicon source suitable for glass, optic and ceramic applications. Oxide compounds are not conductive to electricity. Soluble in caustic alkali and h ydrofluoric acid, insoluble in acids, water and various solvents. Resistance to high temperature, no combustion, good insulation properties.
