Product Description
Fragrant rice (Perfume rice) is also known as OM5451/ OM4900/ OM18 Rice - the most commonly grown in the Mekong Delta. Rice is flexible and soft, with a slight aroma and sweet taste when cooked, and especially does not harden even when cooled.
Because of the advantage of strong and high-yielding rice varieties, this rice has an abundant supply, and has become popular in traditional markets (Asia, Middle East, Africa, etc..)

Favorable Terrain
The Mekong Delta has an entire delta area of 36,000 km2 with a cultivated rice area of 1.5 - 1.6 million hectares out of about 2.1 million hectares that can be cultivated.
The terrain in the Mekong Delta is relatively flat, with a slope of only 1cm/km. The two branches of the Mekong River, Tien River and Hau River, are more than 120km long, providing the main amount of alluvium for this delta.
Soil types in the Mekong Delta are very diverse and have high nutritional content.
Alluvial land is 1,800,00 hectares mainly provided by the Tien and Hau rivers.
Aluminum sulfate soil of 1,100,000 hectares with low pH, mainly influenced by iron sulphate and aluminum sulphate.
The saline land (U Minh forest) of 320,000 hectares has a lot of organic matter.
