A thermocouple can produce a small voltage output by two different metals or wires forming a measurement junction at the sensor’s tip on the device.

1. Insert the Thermocouple into the tester.
2. Tighten the knurled sleeve until the TC is secured.
3. Press and hold the white button apply heat to the TC for 20/30 seconds, then release the button. The button will remain held for approx. 20 seconds if the TC is OK.
