Product Description
PA66 plastic raw material is translucent, white or black crystalline polymer.
PA66 has a higher melting point among polyamide materials. It is a semi-crystalline-crystalline material. PA66 can also maintain strong strength and rigidity at higher temperatures. PA66 is still hygroscopic after molding, and its degree mainly depends on the composition of the material, wall thickness and environmental conditions. The effect of hygroscopicity on geometric stability must be considered during product design.
FEATURES OF NYLON
1. Excellent mechanical properties. Nylon has high mechanical strength and good toughness.
2. Good self-lubrication and friction resistance. Nylon has good self-lubricating properties and a small friction coefficient, so it has a long service life as a transmission component.
3. Excellent heat resistance. High crystalline nylon such as nylon 46 has a high heat distortion temperature and can be used for a long time at 150°C. After PA66 is reinforced by glass fiber, its heat distortion temperature reaches above 250°C.
4. Excellent electrical insulation properties. Nylon has high volume resistance and high breakdown voltage, and is an excellent electrical and electrical insulation material.
5. Excellent weather resistance.

6. Water absorption. Nylon has high water absorption, and the saturated water absorption can reach more than 3%. To a certain extent, it affects the dimensional stability of the workpiece.
