The Oxygen Flow Regulator is designed to reduce the pressure and control the flow of oxygen from an oxygen cylinder or tank. The standard oxygen tank is with compressed oxygen which is over 2000 psi. So the oxygen regulator is used to lower the pressure to < 50 psi for human breathing. Also it can adjust the flow rate to certain value such as : 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4 litter per minute.
When you would like to choose an oxygen regulator for your oxygen cylinder for ozone therapy applications, the below information would be helpful for you : 1> choose the qualified oxygen regulators ONLY ! The bad quality products might offer you inaccurate oxygen flow, and thus you could NOT get the right ozone concentrations for treatment AT ALL ! 2> choose the pediatric size, which available to get small flow oxygen flow rate as 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 litter per minute. 3> choose the right type of oxygen regulator for your oxygen tank.
