OBSIDIAN GRAPHENE is an advanced nanocomposite coating. The silicone-based matrix suspends particles of graphene (carbon allotrope, 2000 ppm) and ceramic nanoparticles ( titanium oxide 200 ppm, alumina 100 ppm, cerium oxide 100 ppm). The coating's silicone matrix provides it with excellent graftability, flexibility and a superhydrophobic and self-cleaning effect. The addition of prismatic graphene (RGO) enhances the coating with an antistatic effect, facilitates heat dissipation and increases its resistance to chemicals, weathering and UV resistance. Ceramic nanoparticles dramatically increase the hardness of the coating and its resistance to peeling. In addition, the complete nanocomposite system perfectly fills surface micropores.
