Material Description
PA12 is widely used in automotive fuel delivery pipes, automotive brake pipes, air conditioning pipes, air compression equipment hoses, industrial high-pressure hydraulic pipes, pipe quick connectors, automotive anti lock system spiral shafts, precision gears, sliding parts of cams and bearings, copier anti-static rollers, anti-static containers and IC chip rails, optical cable sheaths, transparent pipes, self-adhesive wire paint, VCD-ROM, noise reduction gears for printers/DVD-ROM, sports shoe soles, cable buckles Tennis racket buckle and many other aspects.
The characteristics of PA12 are low density, low melting point, high decomposition temperature, low water absorption, excellent low-temperature resistance, and good noise prevention effect. The product has good dimensional stability and is easy to shape and process. Excellent resistance to alkalis, detergents, and oils. It is resistant to alcohols, inorganic acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons, but not to concentrated inorganic acids and chlorinated hydrocarbons. It is soluble in phenol.
