Nickel crucible using notes:

The temperature for melting the sample in a nickel crucible should not exceed 700 degrees
2.
Nickel crucibles cannot be used for calcination of precipitates
3. Nickel crucibles are not suitable for melting samples of acidic solvents such as KHSO4 or NaHS04
4.
Metal salts such as A1, Zn, Pb, Sn, Hg in a molten state can make nickel crucibles brittle
5.
The new nickel crucible should be first burned in a muffle furnace until it turns blue purple to remove surface oil stains,
then boiled in 1:20HCl for a moment, and then rinsed clean with water.
