EBM ST10 horizontal asphalt bitumen heating storage tanks with burner with heating coils are widely used for holding different kinds of bitumen in the road construction and maintenance. They come in different sizes with capacities from 10,000 to 50,000 Liters.
Features
• Our storage tanks are mounted on steel skids that bolt to concrete foundations.
• Equipped with diesel burner and temperature controller, the temperature controller shut down the burner when the bitumen temperature reaches set temperature, and will restart the burner when the bitumen temperature drops.
• Our storage tanks have serpentine heating coils, liquid bitumen in the tank is indirectly heated by hot thermal oil flowing through the coils.
• The exhaust pipes are also serpentine in the tanks to be used to heat up the bitumen, which saves the fuel.
• A manway is located in the top of each compartment. An access ladder is provided on the outside of the tank and inside each compartment. Each compartment also has a combination vent and overflow pipe.
• An valve in the bottom of each compartment allows the tank to be completely drained.
• All our tanks are covered with fiberglass insulation, temperature drop is no more than 10% of the atmospheric temperature changes in 24 hours.
• The tanks are provided with bitumen pumps and unloading pocket so it can be easy used either loading your equipment or being recharged by a transport container.
• Agitating shaft are optional for the storage of the rubber bitumen or modified bitumen.
