primary particle size 5 – 50nm

Fumed silica is divided into hydrophilic type and hydrophobic type according to their different surface treatment process.
Fumed silica has significant functions of reinforcing, anti-caking, rheology control(anti-sagging, anti-settling, thickening), catalyst carrier, defoaming etc. So i t is widely used in the industries of silicone rubber, adhesives, sealants, paint, coating, resins, pharmaceuticals and food etc.

HB-151 is hydrophobic fumed silica which is produced by hydrophilic fumed silica with specific surface area of 150m2/g after chemical post-treatment with DDS(Dimethyldichlorosilane).
