TABER abrasion tester is mainly used to test products such as plastics, paper, coatings, textiles, leather and flooring.

Principle
The upper part of the instrument is the sample holder and a pair of wear wheels, and the wear wheels are attached with counterweights. The instrument mainly uses the motor to make the sample holder rotate counterclockwise to drive the wear wheel, so that the wear wheel rubs against the sample. After a certain number of frictions, the instrument will stop running, remove the sample, and evaluate the wear resistance of the sample by observing the degree of wear of the sample to provide reference data for material selection.
