Cyanoacrylate instant adhesives are single component products that polymerize on contact with slightly alkaline surfaces,reacting to minute traces of surface moisture on the bonded material and curing at room temperature within a few seconds. No mixing or heating is required, and only contact pressure is needed after application of the adhesive to obtain bond strength often higher than the materials involved.
Other advantages include:
