A venturi fertilizer injector, water driven by the pressure of the main irrigation pipe line. Excellent chemical resistance to most of the chemicals, highly efficient and compact differential pressure injection device, Economical and low cost option.
Applications:
1. It is important to choose the model size carefully; too large and the unit will not draw the fertilizer at all, too small and you will restrict the flow of the system.
2. If in doubt always choose a smaller size, put it on a bypass assembly which allows you to adjust the flow through the venturi injector and does not restrict the flow as much.
Benefits:
1. Commercial grade one with no moving parts.
2. It works by suction and will draw liquid fertilizer out of almost any container you provide.
3. Can be plumbed on a bypass for less restriction (the preferred method), or directly into a main water line.
4. All sizes have Male Pipe threads on the inlet and outlet, which are easily adapted to hose threads.

A venturi is a device which creates a vacuum when fluid flows through it. The fluid which creates the vacuum is know as the motive fluid. The motive fluid for irrigation injectors is the irrigation water itself. Vacuum created by the venturi sucks fertilizer or chemical into motive water.
How to work a Venturi?
