Hanka Roof Tiles are manufactured with wet-on-wet technology. While the tiles still wet, it is coated by a layer of Colour Slurry and a Glossy Coating. Therefore, the concrete body, colour slurry and glossy coating fused together. This makes the tiles have a durable colors, long lasting glossy, anti-moss and anti-dust.

The differences between Pressing Tile and Extrusion Tile

T here are 2 biggest differences between Pressing and other Extrusion Tiles:

1. Technology

Pressing Technology ( Hanka ) : Pressed tiles are obtained from a paste that is compacted and formed by a high pressure press.

* Light weight, reduce the roof load for the building project

* Nice and tight design because dry-pressed tiles are consistent with regard to their overall dimension

Extrusion Technology : Extruded tiles are formed by passing the raw materials in the form of a paste through a special

tube forming a strip of cement mixer which is then cut into tiles.

* High productivity but heavier and more coarseness because these tiles are less dimensionally consistent than pressed tiles

2. Surface treatment

Nano ceramic coating technology ( Hanka ) : include 4 main paint layers:

* Decorative paint: improve gloss, hardness, color fastness and anti-UV. At the same time, creating color and lighting effects

as well as increasing aesthetics.

* Nano silicon coating (2 layers)

* Alkali resistant layer.

* Create a smooth and super durable surface

Extrusion tile : Wet on wet technology

* The wet tile is automatically cut to length as it exits the extrusion machine.

* The freshly made tile is then colour coated with one or two colour manually or by colour applicator machines.

* The surface is quite rough, not smooth and less durable (You may have to re-paint them periodically)

Compared to Extrusion tiles, sure that Hanka has a nicer design, lighter weight, and more durable colors.
