Issued by the Spanish Royal Decree No. 970 / 2020, the new traffic safety law decides to enable the V-16 stroboscopic emergency signal device. The Spanish Ministry of transport DGT 3.0 requires that
all V16 emergency lights (emergency warning lights) on sale must be equipped
with GPS positioning and communication functions
from July 1, 2021
. It is approved to be used from 2021, and it is mandatory to use it together with the triangular warning board from January 2024.

What is the V-16 emergency signal device?
