The Cold Liquor Tank(CLT) is another essential to your brewery. Also known as a buffer tank, it contains cold water which helps cool down your bitter wort before fermentation along with the help of a Heat Exchanger.

ABW’s cold liquor tanks are Glycol Jacketed and fully insulated which ensures that your wort will be brought down to ideal fermentation temperature every single time. This saves us both time, from waiting for the hot wort to cool down naturally as well as eliminates the risk of infection.No water is wasted, as all the cold water going into the heat exchanger gets recycled and is sent into the Hot Liquor Tank
