Corn gluten meal (CGM) is a by-product from the manufacture of corn starch and corn syrup. It is very highin protein

Since corn gluten meal in different usage and different productionprocess has different nutritional ingredients, it directly affects theeffective availability and economic benefit of feed formula. The proteincontent of corn gluten meal produced in medical industry is up to more than60%. It is respectively 21% higher than bean cake and 3.7% higher than fishmeal. It is a kind of feedstuff with high content of protein. Meanwhile, itscrude fiber content is lower than 3.9% bean cake. The fat content of medicalcorn gluten meal is higher than bean cake and corn. After it is mixed intofeed, it is with high fat content and in favor of reducing the amino acidoxidation and generated ribosomal protein, and also can restrain glucose andother fat transformed by precursor substances; under high temperature, it isalso beneficial to energy intake, reduces body heat consumption of beasts andbirds and is slow down heat stress.
