Standard design
Evaporator is an important procedure adopted to economize the consumption of energy.
Plate evaporator is an evaporation device in which metal plate replaces round tube as heat transfer element. It is widely used in single-effect evaporation, multi-effect evaporation, MVR and other evaporation and concentration systems of various industrial media.
In terms of energy saving, the plate evaporator can carry out counter-heat transfer evaporation, which greatly shortens the temperature difference between the two ends, thereby reducing the amount of heating steam.

Working principle
Channels are formed between the plates and the corner ports are arranged so that the two media flow through alternate channels. The heat is transferred through the plate between the channels, and complete counter-current flow is created for highest possible efficiency. The corrugation of the plates provides the passage between the plates, supports each plate against the adjacent one and enhances the turbulence, resulting in efficient heat transfer.
