Product Description
Why Do We Need Couplings?
1，The most important role of a coupling (shaft coupling) is to connect the drive shaft of a motor etc. with the driven shaft of a ball screw etc. to transmit the motor power to the driven shaft, as shown in the figure below.
2，The offset between the cores of the driving shaft and the driven shaft is called misalignment. There are three different types of misalignment: lateral, angular, and axial (offset in axial direction).
