In the formula, SiO2 (B2O3), namely silicon oxide (boron oxide), is called the network formation, and it is the basic unit of the glass network structure. RmOn, a metal oxide representing alkali, alkaline earth, and rare earth metals, is a network modifier that changes the glass network structure and achieves adjustment characteristics. PbO, or lead oxide, is a characteristic component that gives glass basic characteristics. With the increase of PbO content, the glass's density, refractive index, dispersion, dielectric constant, X-ray and γ-ray absorption coefficient and other performance index values increase; its hardness, high temperature viscosity, softening temperature, chemical stability and other index values decrease; As a result, the glass molding material becomes longer, the colorant is brightly colored, the surface gloss increases, and the knocking sound is crisp.
