Product Description
Oil-based gilding foil glue
There are two kinds of oil-based gilding foil glues: one is transparent, another is dark brown.
The dark brown foil glue is thicker and it dries relatively quickly. It is suitable for the the crumpled foil.
The transparent foil glue thinner and has a better fluidity, which is suitable for the the furniture and the small craft products that have the flat surface. The transparent glue dries slowly, so the gold foils should be attached after brushing the glue 4 hours. Waiting for another 4 hours, the foil protective varnish should be brushed.
Generally, it will have a better effect after mixing the dark brown foil glue and the transparent one.
Tips:
1.If you are going to gilding with gold foils, please pay more attention to keep the substrate and the surrounding dry.
2.Wearing the gloves is a right way to prevent the sweat form contact the copper foil. Otherwise the copper foil is easily oxidized.
