About the Wood Dryers:
Wood drying equipment in order to drying wood on a controllable basis, must have three basic functions: heating, humanization and ventilation. Heating speaks for itself. The humanization adjustment is to provide the high humanization environment which some stages need. Prevent Wood from cracking and deforming. Ventilation devices must ensure that hot and humid air evenly through the wood stack, dry wood moisture distribution evenly. In the early stages of drying, the performance coefficient (COP) heat pump unit is high because the wood to be dried is relatively humanized.
As the drying process goes on, the COP will decline due to the relative reduction of humanization, which will lead to the decline of unit performance, which will have a negative impact. If the temperature is not high, for example, a cryogenic heat pump is below 54 °C and the moisture content is below 15% , the moisture can not be removed from the wood. It is generally necessary to raise the drying temperature above 71 °C. The drying box should be kept warm and resistant to air loss. In thermal insulation, the box structure should have a small heat capacity to reduce heat loss, equal to or less than the mechanical equivalent of heat. Non-humidifying equipment installed in the heat pump drying cabinet, if the Water Vapor overflow, certainly drying conditions are difficult to change. Therefore, the drying cabinet should have a good ability to reduce the loss. Keep the airflow in the cabinet stable, the wind speed of 1 m/s is the best. Wood moisture content of less than 15% , shall not be removed from the wood. In general, the drying temperature needs to be raised to 71 ° C or above, the drying box should be kept warm, resistant to air loss.
