Millimeter wave radar sensor

This speed radar is a millimeter wave radar module with integrated microstrip antenna, RF circuitry and signal processing circuitry, which directly outputs the speed information of the target. It can be used for long-distance automobile speed measurement of more than 180 meters, adopting integrated RF chip, with high frequency stability and speed measurement accuracy up to 1KM/h.

Preparation before commissioning of velocity radar
The radar needs to communicate with the computer through the RS485USB switching tool. The positive and negative poles of the radar power supply need to be separately connected with 12V DC power supply. After the radar is powered on, the red and green light flashes, indicating that the power has been successfully powered on.
Installation Instructions

1、Recommended application scenarios

According to the road vehicle to install on the left or right side of the road, as shown below, height: 1~2m; The recommended Angle between the antenna transmitting surface and the road is less than 10°.
2、Other notes
(1)This radar only detects relative moving targets in the detection area, and does not detect completely stationary targets. The output result is information such as the speed of the nearest/fastest relative moving targets in the detection area.
(2)If there is water, metal and other strong reflection occlusions in the radar transmitting direction, it will seriously affect the radar
test effect.
(3)The preceding parameters are set according to the actual situation. For example, set to only detect the coming speed, when the speed is triggered, please set to reduce the radar sensitivity, the sensitivity factory default 0x05, the larger the value, the lower the sensitivity, adjust the value until the radar has no false speed.
